‘Participatory approach can change the scenario of rural India’

With involvement of youth power & application of eco-friendly science and technology may change in the development of rural people.
Inaugurating the year long Village Science Yatra (Goanku Vigyan yatra) progrmme at Kamgoan Junior College the Member of Parliament of Nabarangpur LokSabha, Er.Balabhadra Majhi has said, implementation of latest science of technology at village level not only boosts the rural economy but also helps to self confidence among youth of Odisha.DSCF5858 [2]

Chief Guest MP Majhi also said, Process of development only possible with active involvement of youth power at bottom level. He also appeals to the student, as 100% employment is not practical possible so mind set of youth should thing for new innovation.

MP Bargarh, Dr.Prabhash Kumar Singh has Said, we should aware about the burning issue like deforestation, Soil erosion, Climate change, Pesticide effect and other issue. Tamil Nadu faces serious devastations of natural calamities in recent times. This is high time to work among the villagers by the students to address the current issues, he added.
He also appreciated the college students and Faculty member for their grand successes in term of best college among Odisha.Dr.Singh has appeal that Students should have specific aim or goal so that he/she should achieve the top in his carrier.

Laxmi Narayan Boxi,Chief Editor of Explore Odisha has said, if the vigyan yatra at bottom level will implement and aware properly then the expenditures of rural people will be slashed and helps to conserve bio diversity with application of Modern apparatus. He also said this will helps to reduce the gap between rural and urban people.

Bibhu Prasad Mohanty, Social reformer has highlighted the year long activities of College students and role of villagers for smooth implementation of programme.

Snehasis Behera, Sr.Principal Investigator of IMMT,Bhubaneswar has explained the Indoor pollution and their effect how harmful to health and Environment. He also suggested the use of improved cook stove will help to conservation of bio diversity significantly.

Dr.Anant Kishore Jena,NSS State Programme Coordinator has assure to actively organize the Vigyan Yatra in all the college of Odisha where students of NSS will be actively participated in this mission.

Dr.N.K.Khuntia of OUAT has said village is knowledge Bank of technology but latest technology may helps to improve the socioeconomic condition of rural people.

Dr.Narendra Rath, agriculture Economist said vigyan yatra is process of continuation more and more innovation of science and technology will be added to the programme in coming days.

Bibhudutta Pradhan,Sr Techinical officer of IMMT has appeal to the students that discipline, dedication and sincere effort may boost the self confidence and open the door of achievements.

Krushak Laxaman Das,Chief commander of Community police has said that integration and cordial relation among the villages may redress development issue. He also suggested to formation of community police at village so that villagers will proactive for development process.

First years students were elaborately explained the advantages of pest control without pesticide like pheromones traps and Trichogramma. They also appraised the modern technology for biodiversity though the improved cook stove. Advantages of Solar energy and soil test highly appreciated the Policy makers and villagers those who attended the progrmme.

Principal Premananda Patel has presided over the progrmme and assured that the students and faculty members will work for overall development in adopted two village of Antapally and Karlajore . Ananya & Nikita duo anchor the entire progrmme significantly.
Rabi Narayan Sahu and other staff of college were coordinated the programme.Faculty members, Management committee members and villagers of Antapally and Korlajore were attended the programme.
