The tournament will kick off with an exciting opening match between the defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22, 2025.
The first double-header is scheduled for March 23, 2025. In the afternoon game, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Hyderabad. The evening match will feature a high-profile clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Venues and Match Timings
Matches are slated to take place across 13 venues, with certain teams playing home games at multiple locations:
- Delhi Capitals (DC): Home games in Visakhapatnam and at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
- Rajasthan Royals (RR): Two home games in Guwahati and the remaining at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
