Rainbow Six Siege X
Ubisoft has officially unveiled Rainbow Six Siege X, marking a significant evolution in the tactical shooter series. This announcement was made during the Six Invitational 2025, with a comprehensive reveal scheduled for March 13 at the Siege X Showcase in Atlanta, Georgia. The upcoming transformation promises substantial graphical and audio enhancements, enriched tactical gameplay, and innovative modes, aiming to redefine the Rainbow Six Siege experience.
In conjunction with this announcement, Ubisoft introduced a new operator named Rauora as part of Operation Prep Phase, the inaugural season of Year 10. Hailing from New Zealand, Rauora joins the Attackers, bringing a unique gadget to the battlefield. Her Deployable Omnilink Mesh (D.O.M.) Launcher allows her to deploy bulletproof panels in doorways, enabling teams to strategically reshape environments and control combat flow.
Rauora’s arsenal includes a choice between the 417 designated marksman rifle or the M249 light machine gun as primary weapons. Her secondary weapon options feature the new Reaper MK2 machine pistol, equipped with a red dot sight and extended magazine for enhanced accuracy in close-quarters engagements. Additionally, she carries smoke grenades or breach charges, providing tactical versatility during assaults.
Players can access Rauora at the start of the season through the Operation Prep Phase Battle Pass, with the option to unlock her two weeks later using Renown or R6 Credits. As Rainbow Six Siege approaches its 10th anniversary, these developments underscore Ubisoft’s commitment to evolving the game and delivering fresh, engaging content to its dedicated player base.
